Rubik’s Cube Patent Canvas Print, 1983 Puzzle Blueprint Wall Art

Description

The 1983 Rubik’s Cube patent drawing, printed on gallery-wrapped canvas in 11×14 and 16×20. As a Rubik’s Cube patent canvas print it shows the most famous puzzle of the twentieth century from the inside, in the aged sepia tone of an archive sheet.

The largest figure is the assembled cube, drawn in three-quarter view with arrows on all three axes to show which way the layers turn. Around it, the sheet takes the puzzle apart. Separate figures show a corner piece and an edge piece with the curved tongues that lock them into their neighbours, and a centre cap with its stem. Flat views show a face of the cube with the cross-shaped core exposed, and cut-away sections show the spring and screw that hold each centre in place while still letting it turn. The last figure is the six-armed core on its own, the hidden part most people who have solved the cube have never seen. Every figure is numbered and labelled, so the sheet reads like a set of instructions for building one.

Each canvas is made to order in our family workshop in NE Ohio, printed with fade-resistant inks and gallery-wrapped by hand. Made in the USA, it suits a speedcuber’s bedroom, a math or engineering classroom, a home office, or a game room where puzzles and vintage toys share the shelves.

Adhesive hangers come in the box, so the canvas holds securely without nails or tools, and removes cleanly without holes or wall damage – practical for apartments, rentals, dorms and offices. The 11×14 fits above a desk; the 16×20 has the presence for a study or game room wall. The gallery wrap carries the image around the edges for a finished gallery look.

For anyone who has spent an afternoon twisting a cube back to six solid faces, choose the size and style, and it arrives ready to hang.

Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.
