A wedding anniversary is the one occasion that keeps getting bigger. The early ones pass with a dinner out. The twenty-fifth gets a party, and the fiftieth gets the whole family in one room. Milestone anniversary wall art is for those bigger years: a poem written for the number, framed or on canvas, that is still on the wall long after the cake is gone.
Shop By Milestone
The collection is arranged around the years people actually celebrate. The 25th, silver, with verses about threads that held for a quarter of a century. The 40th, ruby, for a couple who have outlasted most of the things they bought together. The 50th, golden, the one grown children most often organise. The 60th, diamond, rarer than it should be and worth a piece that says so. Most milestones come in more than one design, so a couple who were given a silver print can receive a golden one that does not repeat it.
Alongside the numbered pieces sit general anniversary poems and love verses for a husband or a wife, for the years in between or for a couple who would rather not have the number on the wall.
Who Buys Them
Mostly the children. A 40th or 50th is usually planned by sons and daughters, and a framed poem is the gift that can stand on the cake table during the party and go home to the mantel afterwards. Spouses buy them too, usually the poems written in one partner's voice to the other.
Frames With A Photo Opening
Several designs have an opening beside the verse for a photograph of your own. The wedding picture is the classic choice. A recent one of the two of them works just as well, and some families buy two frames so the wedding day and the anniversary hang side by side. We print the artwork and you slip the photo in when it arrives, so there is nothing to upload and no proof to wait on.
Sizes, Frames And Canvas
Framed prints come in four frame colors: Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, and Walnut. The smaller sizes have a fold-out easel back as well as a hanger, which suits a piece meant for a party table first and a wall second. Several milestone poems are also offered on canvas, a 1-inch gallery wrap that hangs without nails or tools, with a floating frame upgrade for a more finished edge.
