Millennium Falcon Canvas Print, 1979 Patent Plate Wall Art

Description

A patent plate for the Millennium Falcon, No. 228,688, dated April 19, 1979, printed as two line-art figures on aged parchment: Fig. 1, a plan view of the ship’s saucer hull with its forward mandibles and off-center cockpit, and Fig. 2, its side elevation. It comes as an 11×14 or 16×20 gallery-wrapped canvas, stretched over a solid wood frame. As a millennium falcon canvas print it arrives ready to hang, both figures already printed together.

Fig. 1 lays the ship out from above: the saucer hull, the forward mandibles, the cockpit set off to one side on its own boom, and a ring of turret mounts at the center. Fig. 2 turns it in profile, showing the dorsal turret and the round dish from the side. Every fine line and figure number is reproduced the way a patent examiner would have seen it, on a warm, aged parchment background that gives the whole plate the look of a real filed drawing.

Made to order and printed by hand in our family-owned shop in Northeast Ohio, this canvas uses fade-resistant inks that hold their tone for years, on gallery-wrapped canvas throughout. As space wall art it settles into a den, office, or game room, and reads just as well as vintage art in a living room gallery wall.

Both the 11×14 and the 16×20 hang with the canvas’s own adhesive strips, holding securely without nails or tools, and removing cleanly without holes or wall damage. The gallery wrap carries the image around the edges for a clean, classic look.

This canvas print makes an easy find for a lifelong fan of the ship, or anyone who likes the look of an old patent plate on the wall. Add it to a den, office, or game room, or give it as retro wall art for the collector who already has everything else.

Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.
