Spaceship Patent Print, Saucer-Hull Design, Framed Wall Art

Description

A saucer-hull craft with a forward mandible-like fork and an offset cockpit fills this sheet, drawn in fine schematic linework on an aged parchment ground. It comes framed in Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, or Walnut. As a spaceship patent print it reads like a real patent-office plate rather than a poster, and it works just as well in a den as it does over a desk.

The number printed on the sheet is Patent No. 228,688, issued April 19, 1979. The original panel carries no series prefix and no inventor’s name, so this print reproduces it exactly as recorded rather than adding detail the patent office drawing itself does not show.

Each order is made in the USA, in our family-owned workshop in Northeast Ohio, printed with fade-resistant inks so the sepia tone holds its warmth over time. It’s a simple gift for a son, a dad, or a friend who collects vintage sci-fi design work, and it holds up as everyday den or office decor on its own.

This is a wall piece — it arrives with a hanger already attached, simple to hang, with no separate hardware needed. The front is a clear, shatter-resistant panel, lightweight and crystal-clear, so the fine linework and the small printed patent number stay sharp up close.

One craft, one sheet, four frame colors to choose from. It’s an easy birthday or Christmas gift for a longtime fan, and it holds up as sharp, quiet wall art well past the occasion.

Each order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.

Crossroads Home Decor is built around one simple idea: to Inspire, Encourage, and Connect. If you have any questions about this listing or your order, please send us a message — we’re happy to help. Thank you for supporting a small family business.
