Description
The Starfish Story, printed in full and framed, in three sizes: 4×10, 8×8, and 11×14, each available in Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, or Walnut. As a starfish story framed print it arrives finished and simple to set up, the parable already printed and in place.
The story tells of an old man walking the beach at dawn watches a boy picking up stranded starfish and throwing them back into the sea, one by one. “I’m saving these starfish, Sir,” the boy says, and when the man points out there are miles of beach and thousands of starfish and he cannot possibly make a difference, the boy picks up another, throws it back, and turning to the man, says, “I made a difference to that one!” It’s become one of the most-quoted parables for anyone whose work is quiet and rarely counted — a teacher, a nurse, a social worker, a volunteer — a reminder that one difference is still a difference.
Made to order in our family-owned shop in NE Ohio with fade-resistant inks, offered in Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, or Walnut across all three sizes. It’s a fitting choice among thank you gifts and appreciation gifts for a coach, mentor, or coworker who quietly changes lives.
The 4×10 and 8×8 stand on a shelf with a fold-out easel back or hang on the wall, whichever suits the room. The 11×14 is sized for wall display only, a larger statement for an entryway or classroom. A shatter-resistant, crystal-clear front panel keeps the parable sharp in either spot.
Choose a frame color and a size, and it arrives ready to display, no assembly needed. It’s a fitting gift for a teacher, a nurse, or anyone whose quiet work deserves more than a passing thank-you.
Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.

This item was intended as a gift so I was a bit worried about the quality. But I am very happy. The barnwood frame is classy and well done.
