Footprints in the Sand Canvas Print, Full Poem Portrait or Panoramic Wall Art

Description

The full Footprints in the Sand poem, printed on canvas over a quiet beach scene. It comes in two shapes: an upright 11×14 or 16×20, and a long panoramic 30×10, 36×12 or 40×16 that hangs landscape, with the poem set in long, even lines. Every size is gallery-wrapped, with a floating frame upgrade for extra depth. As a footprints in the sand canvas print it carries every word, from the opening dream to the closing line, so the text is the same whichever shape suits your wall.

The poem tells of a man who dreams he is walking along the beach with the Lord while scenes from his life flash across the sky. In most of them he sees two sets of footprints; at the lowest and saddest times, only one. He asks why, when he needed help most, “you should leave me.” The Lord’s reply closes the poem: “it was then that I carried you.” That promise is why it is so often given to someone facing grief, illness or loss, as a sympathy gift or a footprints in the sand memorial piece, or to a mom, a grandparent or a friend who has leaned on their faith through a hard year. It is also a warm housewarming gift for a beach house, and a meaningful one at Christmas.

Each canvas is made to order in our family-owned shop in NE Ohio and printed with fade-resistant inks, so the sand, the water and the script hold their color for years. It is gallery-wrapped around a frame 1 inch deep, with the image carried around the edges for a finished look from the side. Made in the USA, start to finish. It sits comfortably beside other footprints poem wall art or footsteps in the sand wall art, and on the larger sizes the script reads easily from across the room, which makes it natural beach canvas wall art for a sunroom, hallway or bedroom.

It arrives ready to hang with wall hangers included. It holds securely without nails or tools, and removes cleanly without holes or wall damage, so it suits rentals, dorms and offices. The 11×14 fits a bedside wall, an entryway or a narrow hallway, and the 16×20 holds its own over a dresser or desk. For wider walls, the 30×10 sits over a console table, the 36×12 suits a couch or queen headboard, and the 40×16 spans a full sofa or king bed. The floating frame option adds a slim frame about an inch on each side.
