Coal Miner’s Prayer Canvas Print, Underground Mining Wall Art
Price range: $29.99 through $54.99
This coal miners prayer canvas print pairs a black-and-white photograph of a miner walking home from his shift with his own prayer, printed in full beside him, for any family who has loved a man who worked underground.
It reads in the miner’s own voice — “With black covered faces, and hard calloused hands, I ride the dark tunnels, my work to begin” — and closes, “I silently pray, Lord, please harvest my soul.” It is a private prayer said before every shift underground.
Made in the USA by our family-owned shop, it holds securely without nails or tools, and removes cleanly without holes or wall damage.

Description
A black-and-white photograph of a coal miner walking home from his shift, work shirt and cap, lunch pail in hand, with the full prayer printed in a panel beside him. It comes as an 11×14 or 16×20 gallery-wrapped canvas, with a floating frame upgrade available on either size. As a coal miners prayer canvas print it arrives ready to hang, the poem already in place beside the photograph.
The panel prints the prayer in the miner’s own voice. It reads, “With black covered faces, and hard calloused hands, I ride the dark tunnels, my work to begin.” It closes, “I silently pray, Lord, please harvest my soul.” It reads as a private prayer said before every shift underground, and for a family with a father, grandfather, or husband who worked the mines, it carries the weight of an entire working life.
Made to order in our family-owned shop in Northeast Ohio, this canvas prints on gallery-wrapped canvas with fade-resistant inks that hold their tone for years. As coal mining wall art it suits a den, entryway, or office, and as mining decor it brings honest, working-class character into a home that already carries that history.
Both the 11×14 and the 16×20 hang with the canvas’s own adhesive strips, holding securely without nails or tools, and removing cleanly without holes or wall damage. Choose the classic gallery wrap for a clean edge, or upgrade to the floating frame for extra depth on a larger wall.
This canvas makes a fitting coal miner gifts for men choice for a birthday, retirement, or Father’s Day, and a lasting coal miner keepsake for a family that already knows what that work costs. Add it to a wall that carries the family’s mining history, or start one of your own.
Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.
