Monet Bouquet of Sunflowers Canvas Print, 1881 Still Life Wall Art

Description

This canvas reproduces Claude Monet’s Bouquet of Sunflowers, painted and signed in 1881, with golden sunflowers crowded into a white vase banded in blue and set on a red patterned cloth. It’s printed on gallery-wrapped canvas in two sizes, 11×14 and 16×20, offered plain or upgraded to a floating frame. As a monet bouquet of sunflowers canvas print it arrives finished and ready to hang, in the size and style you choose at checkout.

Monet painted this bouquet in 1881, a decade before he began the water garden series at Giverny that made him famous, and at a point when he painted relatively few still lifes. Sunflowers had just become a fashionable subject among the Impressionists and their contemporaries — Van Gogh would take up the same flower a few years later — and Monet’s version keeps the loose, sunlit brushwork he used everywhere else, and up close it reads as thick, visible strokes rather than smooth blending. The original hangs today at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, one of a small handful of pure still lifes in his catalogue.

Each canvas is made to order and printed in our family-owned workshop in Northeast Ohio, stretched over gallery-wrapped bars with fade-resistant inks that hold their color in direct light. It reproduces a public-domain painting, over a century old, which is exactly why a small shop like ours can offer it. Pick the classic gallery-wrapped canvas for a clean, modern edge, or the floating frame canvas for a bit more depth and shadow around the piece.

The canvas hangs with an adhesive strip already included — it holds securely without nails or tools, and removes cleanly later without holes or wall damage, so it works as well in a rental or dorm as it does in a permanent home. Both sizes, 11×14 and 16×20, ship ready to hang, and the floating frame upgrade is worth considering for a kitchen or dining room wall where the warm palette gets the most light.

The golden bouquet holds its own on a kitchen or dining room wall, warmer and brighter than Monet’s water scenes. Pick gallery-wrapped or floating frame, and it’s made to order and on its way.

Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.
