Inspirational framed prints are easy to get wrong: a stock phrase in a stock font, and a month later nobody reads it. The pieces here are built around words with a story behind them — a poem, a speech, a verse, a parable — set into artwork you would want on the wall even without the words. All of it is made to order in our family-owned shop in the USA.

What We Carry

Who They Are Bought For

Graduates, mostly, and the teachers and coaches who got them there. Somebody starting over after a hard year. A new office or a first apartment. The Man in the Arena goes to people who have just taken a risk; the Starfish Story goes to people whose work is helping one person at a time — teachers, nurses, volunteers.

Where They Go

An office or a desk is the obvious place, and that is where the smaller framed sizes earn their easel back. A child's room, a classroom, the hallway you pass on the way out each morning. Larger canvas suits a living room or an entry, where the words can be read from across the room.

Sizes, Frames And Canvas

Framed prints come in four frame colors — Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, and Walnut — in several sizes. Many designs also come as a picture frame with an opening for a photograph you add yourself; a graduation photo beside the words is the usual choice. Canvas is a 1-inch gallery wrap that hangs without nails or tools, and a floating frame is available as an upgrade.

Choosing The Words

Pick the passage for the person rather than for the wall. If you cannot tell what they would want, the pieces with a story — the starfish, the arena — travel further than a single word or a slogan, because there is something to tell them when they open the box.
