Retirement Poem Photo Frame – Acrostic Keepsake for a New Chapter
$29.99
This retirement poem photo frame holds a favorite 4×6 photo beside the RETIREMENT acrostic, a fitting way to mark the start of someone’s next chapter.
The verse opens ‘Rising when one wishes to, even on the weekdays,’ and closes by hoping all the lovely things RETIREMENT brings — eleven lines written for exactly this moment in someone’s life.
We print the artwork, you add the photo when it arrives — the 8×8 takes a 4×6 print. Every frame is made to order by our family-owned shop in Northeast Ohio.

Description
The RETIREMENT acrostic, printed and framed with an opening beside it for a photograph. The 8×8 takes a 4×6 print, in four frame colors — Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, or Walnut. As a retirement poem photo frame it arrives finished, the verse already in place, so the only thing left to decide is which picture goes in.
Judith Bond’s RETIREMENT acrostic gives each letter of the word its own line, moving from easy mornings and long-awaited golf games to time that finally belongs to no one else. It closes, ‘Hoping all these lovely things RETIREMENT brings to you’ — words meant to be read again on quiet mornings for years after the send-off is over, long after the cake and cards from the office are gone, and long after anyone else remembers the exact date of the party.
You add the photo once the frame arrives. It stands on its own fold-out easel back or hangs flat using the built-in wall hanger, whichever suits the room.
Each piece is made in the USA and made to order in our family-owned workshop in Northeast Ohio, printed with fade-resistant inks so the acrostic and the photo both stay crisp for years. Choose from four frame finishes — Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, or Walnut — to match the retiree’s home or office.
Whether it is a going-away gift from a whole department or a quiet thank-you from one coworker, this retirement poem photo frame gives someone’s next chapter the send-off it deserves. Order it for a teacher closing out a career, a nurse hanging up her scrubs, or a manager heading into calmer days — pick a frame color, add the photo, and let the acrostic say the rest.
Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.
