Description
The Starfish Story, printed in full and gallery-wrapped on canvas, in 11×14 and 16×20, available plain or with the floating-frame upgrade. As starfish story canvas wall art it’s sized to hold its own on a living room wall, a classroom wall, or a coastal-themed entryway.
The story tells of an old man walking the beach at dawn watches a boy picking up stranded starfish and throwing them back into the sea, one by one. “I’m saving these starfish, Sir,” the boy says, and when the man points out there are miles of beach and thousands of starfish and he cannot possibly make a difference, the boy picks up another, throws it back, and turning to the man, says, “I made a difference to that one!” It’s become one of the most-quoted parables for anyone whose work is quiet and rarely counted — printed at a size meant to be read from across a room, not just up close.
Each canvas is made to order in our family-owned shop in NE Ohio, printed with fade-resistant inks and gallery-wrapped over solid wood sub-frames so the image carries around the edges. The 11×14 suits a reading nook or hallway; the 16×20 holds a living room wall on its own. Both are available gallery-wrapped or with the floating-frame upgrade.
It hangs with damage-free strips included in the box — press them to the wall and the canvas holds securely without nails or tools, then lifts away without leaving holes. That makes it workable in an apartment, a rental, or a classroom where drilling means paperwork.
Choose a size and a style, and give it as a thank you gift for a teacher, nurse, or volunteer, or hang it at home as a daily reminder that one difference still counts.
Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.
Crossroads Home Decor is built around one simple idea: to Inspire, Encourage, and Connect. If you have any questions about this listing or your order, please send us a message — we’re happy to help. Thank you for supporting a small family business.
