Whiskey Still Patent Canvas Print – Vintage 1909 Distillery Wall Art

Description

This canvas reproduces a 1909 patent drawing for an industrial whiskey still, printed edge to edge in two sizes – an 11×14 and a 16×20. As a whiskey still patent canvas print it brings the sheet’s two figures to a home bar, den, or kitchen wall: a side view of the still’s heating chamber, cut open to show its internal tubes and angled paddle arms, and a round cross-section of the coiled tubing beneath it.

The patent dates to 1909, for a continuous whiskey still – the industrial kind that separates spirit from spent beer inside one heating chamber, rather than a small backwoods pot still. Figure 1 shows that chamber cut away in side view, its rows of vertical tubes and angled paddle arms turning on a central shaft, with a looped vapor pipe running to a valve above and a second loop carrying liquid down to an outlet below; a row of small valves along the bottom feeds the chamber through a cross-fitted pipe. Figure 2 is a round cross-section of the same chamber, showing the coiled tubing in concentric rings with four radial arms reaching toward a central hub. It reads as honest distillery equipment, drawn the way an engineer would draw it, rather than a themed decoration.

Each canvas is made to order in our family-owned workshop in Northeast Ohio, printed with fade-resistant inks and gallery-wrapped over sturdy sub-frames so the image continues around the edges. It works well as distillery wall art for a home bar or den, and holds its own as antique distillery art next to a whiskey cabinet, a bar cart, or a spirits collection built up over years. The 16×20 in particular reads like a piece of vintage whiskey still wall art from a proper gallery.

Both sizes ship ready to hang, with adhesive strips already in the box – press them to the wall and it holds securely without nails or tools, and removes cleanly without holes or wall damage, which matters in an apartment, a rental, or an office that cannot take a nail. Choose the 11×14 for a shelf or a smaller wall, or the 16×20 to anchor a bigger one.
