Twelve Sunflowers Canvas Wall Art, Vincent van Gogh Turquoise Vase

Description

Vase with Twelve Sunflowers, Vincent van Gogh’s August 1888 bouquet against a turquoise ground, arrives printed on gallery-wrapped canvas in 11×14 and 16×20, with a floating-frame upgrade available at either size. As twelve sunflowers canvas wall art, it comes stretched, sealed, and ready to hang, so the only decision left is size and style.

This is the turquoise-background version of the sunflowers, painted in Arles in August 1888 and now held at the Neue Pinakothek in Munich. Twelve blooms, most fully open and one drooping bud to the right, sit in a plain earthenware vase on an ochre-yellow tabletop, with the artist’s first name, ‘Vincent,’ hand-lettered on the vase. He painted several sunflower still lifes that summer in Arles, each against its own background color, and this cooler turquoise ground gives the bouquet a quieter mood than the brighter yellow grounds used in other versions of the subject.

Each canvas is made to order in our family-owned shop in NE Ohio, printed with fade-resistant inks and gallery-wrapped over solid wood bars so the color continues around the edges with no white border. The 11×14 suits a kitchen nook or hallway, while the 16×20 commands a dining room or living room wall on its own, and either size layers into botanical wall art, floral decor, or a sunflower kitchen decor grouping.

Hanging strips are included in the box – press them to the wall and the canvas holds securely without nails or tools, and removes cleanly without holes or wall damage, which makes it workable in an apartment, a rental, a dorm, or an office. Choose gallery-wrapped for a clean edge, or the floating-frame upgrade for a raised border and extra depth on a larger wall.

Pick your size and style, and bring Van Gogh’s sunflowers into a kitchen, dining room, or any wall that could use a bright, garden-fresh accent.

Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.
