Toothbrush Patent Canvas Print, 1953 Vintage Dental Wall Art
Price range: $29.99 through $34.99
This toothbrush patent canvas print reproduces a 1953 patent drawing for a flexible, segmented toothbrush head, a genuine piece of dental history.
A notched spring strip links its four bristle sections so the head flexes against a tooth’s curve, real invention rather than generic bathroom art.
Made in the USA in our family-owned shop, each canvas hangs securely without nails or tools and comes down again with no damage to the wall.

Description
This canvas print reproduces a 1953 patent drawing for a toothbrush with a flexible, segmented head, four hinged sections linked by a thin spring strip. It comes in two sizes, 11×14 and 16×20, each available as gallery-wrapped canvas. As a toothbrush patent canvas print, it carries the plate exactly as the Patent Office received it, wording and all.
The drawing lays out the whole mechanism: a notched spring strip threading through four bristle segments so the head could flex against the curve of a tooth, an idea years ahead of the flexible-head brushes sold today. It is a plain, well-drafted piece of vintage dental history that suits a hygienist, dentist, or collector of patent prints, and it reads as genuine rather than novelty.
This canvas is made to order in our family-owned Northeast Ohio workshop, printed with fade-resistant inks on gallery-wrapped canvas that finishes clean at the edge without a separate frame. It suits dental office wall decor above a reception desk, works as dental hygiene wall decor in a private office, and looks just as at home above a bathroom sink or vanity at the end of a hallway.
It arrives ready to hang, with peel-and-press wall hangers that hold securely without nails or tools and lift away later with no wall damage. Choose the 11×14 for a shelf or narrow wall, or the 16×20 for a waiting room or bathroom wall.
Group this toothbrush patent canvas print with other dental-patent pieces, or let it stand alone above a sink, desk, or reception counter. Pick the size and style, and it is ready to hang the day it arrives, with nothing else to buy or assemble.
Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.
Crossroads Home Decor is built around one simple idea: to Inspire, Encourage, and Connect. If you have any questions about this listing or your order, please send us a message — we’re happy to help. Thank you for supporting a small family business.
