Hockey Stick Patent Canvas Print, Vintage 1969 Rink Wall Art

Description

A 1969 patent drawing of a straight-bladed hockey stick fills this canvas in aged sepia tones on parchment, the full stick and a close-up of the blade laid out in fine technical line work. It comes in two sizes, 11×14 and 16×20, each available as gallery-wrapped canvas. As a hockey stick patent canvas print it arrives ready to hang, the artwork already stretched and finished.

The patent’s real subject is the blade: a bristled cross-section and a close-up figure show it wrapped in a spiral textured grip tape for a better hold on the puck, with the wood grain still visible at the heel. Work like this predates digital rendering, so every line on the sheet was inked by hand rather than photographed. For a player, coach or hockey collector, it reads as vintage equipment history, and it pairs naturally with other pieces of hockey patent art or hockey canvas wall art already on a wall.

This canvas is made to order and printed with fade-resistant inks in our family-owned workshop in Northeast Ohio, then hand-finished before it ships. It settles into a bedroom, a rec room or a den as fitting hockey room decor boys will recognize, and it works just as well in a shared kids’ room as it does in a coach’s office.

Both the 11×14 and 16×20 canvas hang with adhesive strips that hold securely without nails or tools and remove cleanly without holes or wall damage, a real advantage in an apartment, a rental or a dorm. The gallery-wrapped canvas is ready to hang on its own, with the image carried around the edges.

Add this hockey stick patent canvas print to a bedroom, a den, or a growing set of hockey wall art favorites, and it arrives finished, ready to hang the day it’s unpacked.

Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.
