Description
A Soldiers Honor is a watercolor American flag printed and framed with an opening for a photograph, with the words Honor, Sacrifice, Family, Country written in script along the foot of the print. The 8×8 takes a 4×6 print and comes in four frame colors — Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, and Walnut. As a soldiers honor picture frame it arrives finished, flag and lettering already printed, so all that is left is to choose the photo of the person it honors.
The four words read like a short creed. Honor is what the uniform carries. Sacrifice is what service costs — missed birthdays, long deployments, and sometimes far more. Family is the household that keeps going while someone is away, and Country is the reason they all agreed to it. Written in flowing black script rather than block letters, the line has the feel of a signature at the bottom of a letter, which suits a keepsake meant for a parent’s mantel or a spouse’s desk. The design does not name a branch, so it fits a soldier, sailor, airman, Marine, or Coast Guard member equally well, and it works for a veteran who served decades ago as much as for a recruit just home from basic training.
You add the photo once the frame arrives. A clear front panel keeps the photo protected, and the frame is light enough to stand on a shelf or hang on the wall.
Made to order in our family-owned shop in NE Ohio, each frame is printed with fade-resistant inks so the red, white, and blue stay strong. Beautiful frame. Very good quality and construction. I loved the saying in the frame.
Just as pictured – will work perfectly for my son’s military photo.
Nice solid frame. The graphics are well done on the American flag and the inspirational words. Fits a 4 by 6 picture well. Plan on hanging it with our other family military photographs.
Love it.
Beautiful frame for my dads military picture of him in world war 2.
