Shema Picture Frame with Photo Opening, Hebrew Prayer Judaica Gift

Price range: $28.99 through $36.99

This Shema picture frame gives a photo of your own a place beside the Hebrew and English words of Deuteronomy 6:4-9.

The passage opens, “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one” — the central declaration of Jewish faith, recited morning and night — and closes here with a single letter, shin, the first letter of the prayer’s own name.

Made in the USA in our family workshop: we print the artwork, you add the photo when it arrives — the 8×8 takes a 4×6 print and the 11×14 takes a 5×7.

Description

The Shema, printed in Hebrew and English over a desert sunset, arrives with an opening beside the text for a photograph of your own. The 8×8 takes a 4×6 print and the 11×14 takes a 5×7, in four frame colors — Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, and Walnut. As a Shema picture frame it is finished before it ships, the prayer already in place, so the only thing left to decide is which photo goes in.

Deuteronomy 6:4-9 opens with the line every Jewish child learns first and every adult repeats last: Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. The passage goes on to command that these words be taught to your children and written on the doorframes of your house, which is why the Shema is recited morning and night and kept near the entry in households that observe it. Here the verse runs in pointed Hebrew beside its English translation, so every generation in the house can read it for themselves, and the design closes with a single letter, shin, set apart at the bottom — the first letter of the prayer’s own name. A photograph belongs in the opening beside it: a grandchild at a bar or bat mitzvah, a family’s first Shabbat in a new home, or simply a parent who wants these words within reach every day.

You add the photo once the frame arrives. The clear front panel is lightweight and shatter-resistant, keeping the photo protected without adding weight to the piece.

Each Shema picture frame is made in the USA and made to order in our family workshop in Northeast Ohio, printed with fade-resistant inks so the lettering stays sharp and true for years. Choose from four frame finishes — Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, or Walnut — to suit the room it’s going into, whether that’s a dining room, an entryway, or a child’s bedroom wall.

It makes a fitting gift for a bar or bat mitzvah, a housewarming, or any home where these words are said every day — one of the more meaningful hebrew gifts for a family that keeps Shema Israel close, and a lasting piece of Jewish home decor with room for a photo that makes it entirely your family’s own.

Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.

Crossroads Home Decor is built around one simple idea: to Inspire, Encourage, and Connect. If you have any questions about this listing or your order, please send us a message — we’re happy to help. Thank you for supporting a small family business.
