Starfighter Patent Print, Cruciform Four-Winged Design, Framed

Description

A cruciform, four-winged fighter appears in two views on this sheet, drawn in fine schematic linework on an aged parchment ground. It comes framed in Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, or Walnut. As a starfighter patent print it reads like a real engineering drawing rather than a poster, and it fits a den, a study, or a hallway of framed prints equally well.

The design is Des. 277,201, registered January 15, 1985. Two views, not one, are what a real design patent files for approval, and reproducing both here is what separates a genuine patent print from a single promotional illustration.

Each order is made in the USA, in our family-owned workshop in Northeast Ohio and printed with fade-resistant inks, so the sepia tone stays warm rather than yellowing. It’s a straightforward gift for a son, a dad, or a friend who collects vintage sci-fi design work, and it holds up as everyday den or office decor on its own.

This is a wall piece — it arrives with a hanger already attached, simple to hang, with no separate hardware needed. The front is a clear, shatter-resistant panel, lightweight and crystal-clear, so the four-winged linework and the small printed patent number stay sharp up close.

One fighter, two views, one sheet, four frame colors. It’s an easy birthday or graduation gift for a longtime fan, and it reads as sharp, quiet wall art well past the occasion.

Each order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.

Crossroads Home Decor is built around one simple idea: to Inspire, Encourage, and Connect. If you have any questions about this listing or your order, please send us a message — we’re happy to help. Thank you for supporting a small family business.
