Description
Two vintage design-patent drawings share one 11×14 sheet: a cruciform, four-winged fighter above a long-spined craft with two hull sections joined by a boom, both in fine schematic linework on an aged parchment ground. It comes framed in Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, or Walnut. As a sci fi spacecraft patent print it reads like a real patent-office plate rather than a poster, and it hangs just as well in a den as it does over a desk.
The fighter above is Des. 277,201, issued January 15, 1985; the craft below is Des. 271,780, issued December 13, 1983. Both numbers and dates print directly on the sheet, so a fan can trace each design back to its actual registration date rather than a franchise timeline.
Each order is made in the USA, in our family-owned workshop in Northeast Ohio, printed with fade-resistant inks so the sepia tone holds its warmth over time. It’s a simple gift for a son, a dad, or a friend who collects vintage sci-fi design work, and it holds up as everyday den or office decor on its own.
This 11×14 sheet is a wall piece — it arrives with a hanger already attached, simple to hang, with no separate hardware needed. The front is a clear, shatter-resistant panel, lightweight and crystal-clear, so both drawings and their small printed patent numbers stay sharp up close.
Two registered designs, one sheet, four frame colors to choose from. It’s a fitting birthday or graduation gift for a longtime fan, and it reads as sharp, quiet wall art long after the occasion.
Each order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.
