Three separate patent prints, framed at 11×14 in Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, or Walnut, that hang together to spell out All The Bathroom Essentials. As a bathroom patent print set it arrives as three finished frames in one color choice, ready to group on a single wall.
The first frame reproduces G. M. Kazanjian’s hair drier, patent No. 994,259, granted June 6, 1911. The second carries H. C. MacDonald’s toilet seat and cover, patent No. 2,047,480, granted July 14, 1936. The third holds S. Wheeler’s toilet paper roll, patent No. 465,588, granted December 22, 1891. Every number, name, and date is copied straight off the original filings, which is exactly where the joke comes from – three serious engineering drawings, filed in earnest, about the most ordinary fixtures in the house.
Each frame is made to order in our family-owned shop in NE Ohio, printed on aged parchment stock with fade-resistant inks. The sepia linework and worn-paper tone fit farmhouse decor and vintage decor alike, and the set works well as a funny gift or a gag gift for a dad, brother, or landlord who appreciates a good pun.
