Tennis Racket Patent Canvas Print, Vintage 1921 Wooden Wall Art
Price range: $29.99 through $34.99
This tennis racket patent canvas print reproduces a 1921 patent drawing of a strung oval-head wooden racket on aged parchment, for a player, coach or collector drawn to the game’s early years.
The plate draws the strung face, the frame’s slotted throat and the laminated handle in section, the kind of hand-inked detail a photo cannot match.
Made to order and hand-finished in our family workshop in Northeast Ohio, it is made in the USA and hangs with adhesive strips that hold securely without nails or tools and remove cleanly without wall damage.

Description
A strung, oval-head wooden tennis racket – the frame, the laminated handle and a cross-section of the grip – fills this canvas in aged sepia tones on parchment. It comes in two sizes, 11×14 and 16×20, each as gallery-wrapped canvas. As a tennis racket patent canvas print it arrives ready to hang, with the artwork already stretched and finished.
The drawing was filed in the spring of 1920 and issued the following June, with five figures showing the strung face, the unstrung frame and the handle in section. Work like this predates digital rendering, so every strand and seam was inked by hand rather than photographed. For a player or coach who grew up with a wooden racket, or a collector chasing vintage tennis racket wall decor and tennis racket decor, it reads as a genuine piece of the game’s own history rather than a styled reproduction.
This canvas is made to order and printed with fade-resistant inks in our family workshop in Northeast Ohio, made in the USA and hand-finished before it ships. It sits well next to other wooden tennis racket decor and vintage wooden tennis rackets already on a den or hallway wall, and holds its own for anyone building a collection around the game rather than a modern photo print.
Both the 11×14 and 16×20 canvas hang with adhesive strips that hold securely without nails or tools and remove cleanly without holes or wall damage, so it works as well in a rec room or club house as it does in a family den. The gallery-wrapped canvas is about 1 inch deep and ready to hang on its own.
Add this tennis racket patent canvas print to a player’s den, a coach’s office, or a fan’s growing set of vintage wooden tennis rackets favorites, and it arrives finished, ready to hang the day it’s unpacked.
Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.
