Storm on the Sea of Galilee Canvas Print by Rembrandt, 1633
Price range: $29.99 through $54.99
Rembrandt painted this dramatic scene of Christ calming the storm in 1633, and this storm on the sea of galilee canvas print brings his only seascape to a gallery canvas reproduction.
It is the sole surviving example of Rembrandt turning to open water, and the original hasn’t been seen publicly since a 1990 theft from Boston’s Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, making a faithful print one of the only ways left to see the composition at full size.
Made in the USA by our family workshop, this gallery-wrapped canvas hangs securely with the included strips – no nails needed – and comes in 11×14 and 16×20, with a floating-frame upgrade.

Description
This canvas reproduces Rembrandt’s 1633 painting The Storm on the Sea of Galilee, printed on gallery canvas in 11×14 and 16×20 with a floating-frame upgrade at both sizes. As a storm on the sea of galilee canvas print it arrives ready to hang, gallery-wrapped with adhesive strips already attached, so it goes straight up in a study, church, or living room.
Rembrandt van Rijn painted this scene just once – it is his only seascape – showing Christ calm at the stern while the disciples fight a rising storm on the Sea of Galilee. The original vanished in the March 1990 theft from Boston’s Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and has never been recovered, which makes a faithful reproduction one of the few ways left to see the composition at its intended scale and color. The tall, upright framing keeps the full mast and sail in view above the churning water below.
Made to order in our family-owned workshop in Northeast Ohio, this canvas is printed with fade-resistant inks that hold Rembrandt’s deep golds and blacks without fading in sunlight. The 11×14 suits a desk, hallway, or gallery wall, while the 16×20 reads as a full statement piece for a study, sanctuary, or living room, and it fits naturally among christian wall art, biblical wall art, and other rembrandt prints.
Hanging is simple – the canvas ships with adhesive strips already on the back, so it holds securely without nails or tools and removes cleanly without holes or wall damage if you move it later. Choose your size and finish together at checkout: 11×14 or 16×20, classic gallery-wrapped canvas or the floating-frame upgrade for extra depth on the wall.
A Rembrandt seascape most people will never see in person brings real weight to a study, sanctuary, or living room wall. Choose your size and style above and bring this Storm on the Sea of Galilee canvas home today.
