Starfish Story Picture Frame, Add Your Own Photo Keepsake

Description

The Starfish Story, printed and framed, with an opening beside it for a photograph. The 8×8 takes a 4×6 print and the 11×14 takes a 5×7, in Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, or Walnut. As a starfish story picture frame it arrives finished — the parable already in place — with only the photograph left to add.

The story tells of an old man walking the beach at dawn watches a boy picking up stranded starfish and throwing them back into the sea, one by one. “I’m saving these starfish, Sir,” the boy says, and when the man points out there are miles of beach and thousands of starfish and he cannot possibly make a difference, the boy picks up another, throws it back, and turning to the man, says, “I made a difference to that one!” Paired with a personal photograph, the parable becomes a tribute to one particular person whose quiet, patient work has made exactly that kind of difference — a teacher, a nurse, a coach, a volunteer.

You add the photo once the frame arrives. A clear front panel keeps the story and the photograph protected on a shelf or wall.

Made to order in our family-owned shop in NE Ohio with fade-resistant inks, in Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, or Walnut. The 8×8 comes with a fold-out easel back and a wall hanger both fitted, so it stands on a shelf or hangs on a wall. The 11×14 hangs on the wall only, sized to make a statement in an entryway or classroom.

Choose a frame color, then add the photo that turns the parable into a personal thank-you — for a retiring teacher, a graduating nurse, or a coach who never asked for credit. It’s a fitting gift for anyone whose quiet work has made a difference to one person at a time.

Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.
