Ski Boot Patent Canvas Print, Vintage Ski Lodge Wall Art

Description

This canvas reproduces the original 1982 patent drawing for an alpine ski boot, showing the boot in profile alongside a close detail of the forward-lean adjuster mounted on its cuff, in aged sepia tones on parchment. It comes gallery-wrapped in 11×14 or 16×20. As a ski boot patent canvas print it suits a lodge, den, or mudroom wall on its own or as part of a growing gallery.

Filed in 1981 and granted the following year, the drawing’s real subject is the forward-lean adjuster bolted to the boot’s cuff – the hinge and plate that let a skier dial in how far the boot leans forward at the ankle. The main figure lays out the boot in profile, and two smaller views isolate the adjuster plate itself, the kind of mechanical detail an official patent sheet always carries. It reads as honest engineering art rather than a themed ski poster, and it settles naturally next to gear, trail maps, or a shelf of lodge keepsakes.

Made in the USA, this canvas is printed and hand-finished in our family workshop in Northeast Ohio, using fade-resistant inks on gallery-wrapped canvas built to last. Each piece is made to order, so it ships once your size and style are chosen. This vintage ski decor piece holds its own alongside other ski lodge wall decor, and it works well as a gift for a skier, instructor, or lodge owner who appreciates real technical drawing over a chalet-style poster.

The canvas ships with adhesive strips already included, so it holds securely without nails or tools and removes cleanly without holes or wall damage – ideal for a rental cabin, dorm, or lodge office. Choose 11×14 for a shelf or gallery wall, or step up to 16×20 to anchor a room on its own.

Whether it’s headed for a ski lodge, a den, or a gift for the skier in your life, this canvas brings honest patent-drawing character to any wall it hangs on. Pick the size and style that fits your space and order today.

Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.
