Retirement Poem Framed Wall Art – Acrostic Keepsake for a Retiree

Description

The RETIREMENT acrostic, printed and framed as wall art with no photo opening. Available as a compact 8×8 or a tall 4×10 panel, in four frame colors — Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, or Walnut. As a retirement poem framed wall art it arrives ready to give, the whole verse already in place.

The acrostic moves through ‘Rising when one wishes to, even on the weekdays’ and ten more lines building to ‘Hoping all these lovely things RETIREMENT brings to you’ — written by Judith Bond, and printed in full so nothing about the verse is left to guess. It reads like a small toast, the kind usually given out loud at a party and then forgotten once the plates are cleared.

Each piece is made in the USA and made to order in our family-owned workshop in Northeast Ohio, printed with fade-resistant inks so the acrostic stays crisp for years. Pick from four frame finishes — Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, or Walnut — to match the retiree’s home or office, whichever size fits the space best, from a narrow hallway to a wide den wall.

Both the 8×8 and the 4×10 stand on their own fold-out easel back for a desk or shelf, or hang flat using the built-in wall hanger — simple to set up either way, no separate hardware to buy. The clear, shatter-resistant front panel protects the print without adding weight or glare, so the acrostic stays easy to read from across the room.

Give it as a going-away gift from a whole department, a quiet thank-you from one coworker, or a keepsake a retiree picks out for their own new home office. Either size makes a thoughtful send-off gift for a retiring coworker, teacher, or friend, ready to display the moment it arrives — no assembly beyond hanging it or standing it up.

Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.

Crossroads Home Decor is built around one simple idea: to Inspire, Encourage, and Connect. If you have any questions about this listing or your order, please send us a message — we’re happy to help. Thank you for supporting a small family business.
