Passenger Airplane Patent Canvas Print – 1925 Cabin Aircraft Art

Description

This canvas print reproduces a 1925 patent drawing for an early passenger aircraft, printed in aged sepia tones on gallery-wrapped canvas. It comes in 14×11 or 20×16, in the classic gallery wrap. As a passenger airplane patent canvas print it stands apart from the open-cockpit designs of its day: six rectangular windows line the fuselage around a small enclosed cabin, the twin-wing airframe carried above on tall braced struts.

The drawing shows the aircraft nose-up as if just leaving the ground, with a two-blade propeller on a rounded nose, a full-span upper wing braced high above the fuselage, and a shorter lower wing at its base. Dashed lines mark where the forward section was designed to separate from the rear cabin – an early engineering answer to keeping passengers safe if the power section ever failed. It suits anyone drawn to the first years of commercial flight, a den built around aviation history, or a shelf of vintage patent prints rounded out with an early passenger design.

Made in the USA in our family workshop in Northeast Ohio, this canvas is made to order and printed with fade-resistant inks on gallery-wrapped canvas built to hold its color for years. It reads as genuine vintage airplane decor for an office or study, and settles naturally alongside other airplane room decor with real history behind it.

Both sizes hang with adhesive strips that hold securely without nails or tools, and remove cleanly without holes or wall damage – simple for an apartment, rental, or office wall. The 14×11 suits a quiet accent, and the 20×16 makes a standalone statement.

Bring an early chapter of passenger aviation to your wall with this passenger airplane patent canvas print, ready to hang the day it arrives.

Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.
