Soccer Ball Patent Canvas Print, Vintage 1985 Sports Wall Art

Description

A 1985 patent drawing of a classic hexagon-and-pentagon panel soccer ball, shown across several construction stages in fine sepia linework, printed on gallery-wrapped canvas in 11×14 or 16×20. As a soccer ball patent canvas print it ships ready to hang, the drawing already fixed to canvas with fade-resistant inks, leaving only the size to decide.

The plate reads almost like an assembly diagram – a wound core, a tape wrap, then the familiar hexagon and pentagon panels stitched into the cover, shown stage by stage. That kind of technical drawing suits a young player’s bedroom or a family game room better than a stylized poster, because it shows how the ball itself came together rather than a generic illustration of one. It layers easily into a room built around trophies, jerseys, and match-day keepsakes, on either side of a shared space for two young athletes.

This soccer ball patent canvas print is printed to order in our family workshop in Northeast Ohio and made in the USA, using fade-resistant inks on gallery-wrapped canvas so the sepia tones stay warm instead of drifting yellow. The gallery wrap carries the drawing cleanly around each edge for a finished look with no extra framing needed, whether it hangs in a bedroom, a playroom, or a game room.

Both the 11×14 and the 16×20 hang with adhesive strips that hold securely without nails or tools and remove cleanly without holes or wall damage, so it works as well in a dorm or rental as it does in a house. The gallery-wrapped canvas carries the image around the edges for a finished, gallery look.

For a young player, a soccer fan, or anyone who appreciates an old patent drawing, this canvas turns a familiar ball into something worth framing. Pick a size and bring the panel construction detail to a bedroom, playroom, or game room wall.

Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.
