Footprints in the Sand Photo Frame, Heavenly Sky Poem Keepsake

Description

The Footprints in the Sand poem, printed and framed with an opening for your own photograph, set against a softer, heavenly-toned sky instead of a sunny shoreline. The 8×8 takes a 4×6 print, in Barnwood, Charcoal, Black or Walnut. As a footprints in the sand photo frame it arrives finished — the poem already in place — so the only choice left is which photo goes in beside it.

The words are the same well-loved story: a dreamer walks the beach beside the Lord, watching two sets of footprints trail behind through every scene of his life, until the lowest, saddest stretches leave only one set. He asks why, in the times he needed help most, “you should leave me,” and the answer is what makes this poem endure: it was then that he was carried, not left. Here that promise sits beneath a quieter, mistier scene, with two gulls crossing overhead and a distant figure walking the shore — a softer telling of the same comfort. This telling pairs the same words with a quieter scene: a soft, misty sky, two gulls crossing overhead, and a distant figure walking the shoreline, for anyone who wants the comfort of the poem without the brightness of a sunny beach.

You add the photo once the frame arrives. The front panel is shatter-resistant and crystal-clear, and the 8×8 folds out on its own easel back or hangs from the built-in wall hanger.

Each frame is made to order at our family-owned shop in Northeast Ohio, printed with fade-resistant inks and finished by hand in your choice of Barnwood, Charcoal, Black or Walnut. Framing it this way keeps the poem and the photo together as one keepsake, instead of two separate things sitting apart on a shelf.
