Dental Chair Patent Canvas Print, Vintage Dentist Office Wall Art

Description

This canvas print reproduces the 1886 patent drawing for a reclining dentist’s chair. It comes in two sizes, 11×14 and 16×20, each available as gallery-wrapped canvas. As a dental chair patent canvas print, it carries the plate exactly as the U.S. Patent Office received it, with no wording changed or added.

This 1886 patent’s single figure lays out a pedestal chair with a hinged headrest, an adjustable footrest, and a foot-pedal pump column, the mechanical ancestor of the chair still used in practices today. For a dentist, hygienist, or dental student, it is a plain, honest piece of the profession’s own history rather than a generic office print.

Each canvas is made to order in our family-owned workshop in Northeast Ohio, printed with fade-resistant inks on gallery-wrapped canvas so the edges are finished without a separate frame. It settles into a practice as dental office wall decor for a front desk or hallway, works equally well as dental wall art in a private office, and suits dental waiting room decor where patients spend a few quiet minutes. As dental hygienist office decor or simply a vintage dental chair print for a personal collection, it holds up in a clinical setting as well as it does at home.

Hanging is simple: each canvas ships with wall hangers that peel, press, and hold securely without nails or tools, and they remove cleanly later without holes or wall damage. Choose the 11×14 for a narrow wall or shelf, or the 16×20 to anchor a waiting room or hallway. It arrives ready to hang, with nothing else to buy.

Add this dental chair patent canvas print to a themed collection of dental-history pieces, or let it stand alone in a practice, clinic, or study. Choose the size and style that fits the wall, and the rest arrives ready to display.

Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.

Crossroads Home Decor is built around one simple idea: to Inspire, Encourage, and Connect. If you have any questions about this listing or your order, please send us a message — we’re happy to help. Thank you for supporting a small family business.
