Hover Bike Patent Print, Framed 1985 Sci-Fi Blueprint

Description

A single genuine design patent, framed at 11×14 in Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, or Walnut. As a hover bike patent print it reproduces a 1985 patent for a vehicle built to hover, not roll – the drawing shows no wheels at all, just the frame and tail structure that carried it.

Design patent Des. 277,398 was granted January 29, 1985, and the original filing is reproduced here exactly – every view, every line, every figure number copied straight off the source drawing. It is a design patent, so it protects the shape of the vehicle rather than how it works, which is why the sheet reads more like a piece of engineering art than a technical manual.

Each print is made to order in our family-owned shop in NE Ohio on aged parchment stock with fade-resistant inks. The retro blueprint look fits an office, a den, or a bedroom with a sci-fi streak, and it makes an easy gift for anyone who grew up drawing spaceships in the margins of a notebook.

The frame is made for the wall, with a hanger on the back. The front panel is shatter-resistant and lightweight, so it hangs easily in an office, den, bedroom, or hallway.

Pick a frame color and give a patent print that most people have never seen before – a genuinely different gift for the sci-fi fan who already has enough posters.

Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.

Crossroads Home Decor is built around one simple idea: to Inspire, Encourage, and Connect. If you have any questions about this listing or your order, please send us a message — we’re happy to help. Thank you for supporting a small family business.
