Basketball Goal Patent Canvas Print, Vintage Ring and Net Wall Art
Price range: $29.99 through $34.99
This basketball goal patent canvas print reproduces the 1924 U.S. patent drawing of a basket ring and diamond-mesh net bolted to a wall bracket, in warm sepia tones on gallery-wrapped canvas.
The drawing focuses on the goal itself – the ring, the net, and the flared wall bracket that holds it – a simple mechanical patent rather than a full basketball court scene.
Made in the USA and gallery-wrapped by hand, it holds securely without nails or tools and removes cleanly without holes or wall damage.

Description
A basketball goal patent canvas print, reproducing a 1924 U.S. patent drawing of a basket ring and diamond-mesh net bolted to a flared wall bracket. The 11×14 suits a shelf or gallery wall, and the 16×20 makes a bolder statement for a home gym, game room or coach’s office, both gallery-wrapped and ready to hang.
The plate draws the goal in three views – the ring with its full net hanging free, a section through the ring rim and bracket, and the curved ring segment with its two mounting arms. There’s no ball and no backboard in the drawing; the patent covers just the ring, the net and the bracket that fixes it to the wall. It’s a simple mechanical idea from 1924, and the drawing still reads as a clean technical record of an early basketball goal. Reducing the game down to the one part worth patenting is exactly what makes the plate feel like an engineering record rather than a sports poster.
Made in the USA, each canvas is made to order in our family workshop in Northeast Ohio and printed with fade-resistant inks on gallery-wrapped canvas. It suits a home gym, game room or coach’s office, and makes a fitting gift for a player, coach, or collector of vintage sports history.
The classic gallery-wrapped canvas carries the image around its edges for a clean finish. It hangs with adhesive strips already in the box – it holds securely without nails or tools, and removes cleanly without holes or wall damage, so it travels well between apartments, rentals, dorms and offices.
A basketball goal patent canvas print like this one gives a home gym or game room wall a genuine piece of basketball history. Pick the size and the style, and it arrives ready to hang.
