Baseball Glove Patent Canvas Print, Vintage Sports Collector Wall Art

Description

A hand-drawn design of an early laced fielder’s mitt, shown from four angles – the palm, the studded wrist cuff, the open five-finger glove, and a cross-section of the padded crescent roll – printed on gallery-wrapped canvas in 11×14 or 16×20. As a baseball glove patent canvas print it puts real equipment history on the wall instead of a modern product photo.

The design dates to 1910, back when a fielder’s glove was still laced and padded by hand rather than molded, and the drawing records the stitching and the wrist cuff the way a patent office actually filed it at the time. Showing the glove open, closed, and in cross-section gives a fuller picture of how it was built than a single photograph ever could.

Each canvas is made to order in our family-owned workshop in Northeast Ohio, printed with fade-resistant inks on a warm parchment tone so the stitching detail stays sharp for years instead of fading. Both sizes are stretched over a solid wood support bar and finished cleanly along every edge, the same way a technical drawing would be displayed in a coach’s office.

The canvas ships ready to hang with wall hangers that hold securely without nails or tools, and remove cleanly without holes or wall damage, so it settles into a boy’s bedroom, a game room, or a coach’s office just as easily as a den. Both the 11×14 and 16×20 sizes hang the same way, and neither one needs a level or a stud finder to go up straight on the first try.

Choose the size that fits your wall and give this baseball glove patent canvas print to the coach, the collector, or the player who still remembers breaking in their first mitt.

Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.
