Baseball Diamond Patent Canvas Print – Vintage 1887 Ballgame Art

Description

This canvas print reproduces an 1887 patent drawing centered on a baseball diamond, printed in aged sepia tones on gallery-wrapped canvas. It comes in 11×14 or 16×20, in the classic gallery wrap. As a baseball diamond patent canvas print it lays out the infield with period-uniformed players at each base, a grandstand crowd along the top, and a banner reading Our National Ball Game.

The drawing pairs the diamond with a numbered scoring legend along one edge, the kind of plain, hand-drafted detail a patent office once required of any new design, right down to the batter’s lane, the base paths, and a bench of waiting players sketched along the top of the field. It’s a fitting piece for a game room, a coach’s office, or a den built around the sport’s early history, and it rounds out a shelf of baseball patent prints or vintage baseball wall art with the game’s oldest imagery.

Made in the USA in our family workshop in Northeast Ohio, this canvas is made to order and printed with fade-resistant inks on gallery-wrapped canvas built to hold its color for years without fading in direct light. It reads as genuine vintage baseball decor for an office or den, and settles naturally into a room already furnished with baseball wall decor, from a game-room gallery wall to a single accent piece above a desk.

Both sizes hang with adhesive strips that hold securely without nails or tools, and remove cleanly without holes or wall damage – simple for an apartment, rental, or office wall. Choose the 11×14 for a quiet accent or the 16×20 as a standalone statement.

Bring a piece of the game’s earliest history to your wall with this baseball diamond patent canvas print, ready to hang the day it arrives.

Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.
