Judith Bond’s poem is an acrostic: the first letter of each line, read downward, spells ANNIVERSARIES. It begins “Asking and receiving love and / Needing, having someone there,” then works through nurturing and shared ideals, voices raised in laughter, ears that hear the word not said, and love notes given and forgiven. Read straight through, the poem describes patience and repair more than romance — the parts of a marriage that rarely make it into a card.
Each print is made to order in our family-owned shop here in the USA, with fade-resistant inks and a clear front panel that keeps the lettering crisp.
