Sci Fi Vehicle Patent Print, Long-Spined Design, Framed Wall Art

Description

A long-spined craft with two hull sections joined by a connecting boom fills this sheet, drawn in fine schematic linework on an aged parchment ground. It comes framed in Barnwood, Charcoal, Black, or Walnut. As a sci fi vehicle patent print it reads like an actual engineering drawing rather than a poster, and it works just as well in a den as it does above a desk.

The design is Des. 271,780, registered December 13, 1983. That number and date print directly on the sheet, letting a collector date the exact design registration rather than relying on a franchise timeline.

Each order is made in the USA, in our family-owned workshop in Northeast Ohio and printed with fade-resistant inks, so the sepia tone stays warm rather than fading. It’s a straightforward gift for a son, a dad, or a friend who collects vintage sci-fi design work, and it reads as sharp decor even in a room with no other movie ties.

This is a wall piece — it arrives with a hanger already attached, simple to hang, with no separate hardware to source. The front is a clear, shatter-resistant panel, lightweight and crystal-clear, so the long-spined linework and the small printed patent number stay sharp up close.

One craft, one sheet, four frame colors. It’s an easy Christmas or birthday gift for a longtime fan, and it holds up as sharp, quiet wall art long after the occasion.

Each order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.

Crossroads Home Decor is built around one simple idea: to Inspire, Encourage, and Connect. If you have any questions about this listing or your order, please send us a message — we’re happy to help. Thank you for supporting a small family business.
