Laminated Ski Patent Canvas Print – Vintage 1936 Winter Wall Art
Price range: $29.99 through $34.99
This laminated ski patent canvas print reproduces a 1936 design for a wooden ski, drawn with the same section views an early ski maker would have used to explain its build.
Nine figures on the sheet show the ski in plan and profile, the upturned tip, and cross-sections through the laminated layers themselves – the kind of construction detail a woodworker or vintage ski collector reads closely.
Made in the USA in our family-owned shop, this canvas holds securely without nails or tools, and removes cleanly without holes or wall damage.

Description
A hand-drafted rendering of a 1936 laminated ski, printed on gallery-wrapped canvas in two sizes, 11×14 and 16×20. As a laminated ski patent canvas print it carries the same fine linework as the original sheet – the full ski in profile, its upturned tip, and the layered wood construction underneath the finish.
The design lays the ski out in nine separate views: a plan of the long, pointed tip, a side profile showing the upward curve, and a run of cross-sections through the laminated core at different points along its length. A final detail shows the grain and edge where the layers meet. It is a genuinely technical look at how a wooden ski was built up from thin layers rather than carved from one solid plank, and it reads as vintage ski wall art with real substance behind the sepia tones.
Made in the USA, this canvas is made to order and printed in our family-owned workshop in Northeast Ohio, with fade-resistant inks that keep the sepia and parchment tones true for years. The canvas is gallery-wrapped over solid stretcher bars, with the image carried around the edges. The same construction drawing that appeals to collectors of laminated ski patent prints also works well as wooden ski wall art for a lodge, cabin, or den.
Both sizes arrive ready to hang, and the included strips hold the canvas securely without nails or tools, and remove cleanly without holes or wall damage – a real advantage in a cabin, chalet, or rental that gets used hard every season. The 11×14 suits a mudroom or gear-room grouping; the 16×20 commands a wall on its own, and either size fits easily into a lodge gallery wall.
Add this laminated ski patent canvas print to a lodge, cabin, or den, and let a season’s worth of history hang where the gear comes off.
Every order is made and packed by hand in our family shop in Northeast Ohio. We use premium gallery-wrapped canvas, high-quality frame material and fade-resistant inks for both prints and canvas. Each frame is made to order and shipped same or next business day.
